The Simple Site Lab. Website Workflow

The Simple Site Lab Project Workflow

  • You’ll start by filling out the Project Discovery Form. This gives me a clear sense of your goals, timeline, and brand style — so I can recommend the best package and prep your build.

  • Once your project is a go, I’ll send over a custom proposal with everything outlined. A 50% deposit is required to lock in your spot in the studio schedule.

  • You’ll receive your Client Welcome Kit, which includes:

    • A mini brand checklist (colors, logo, fonts)

    • Content upload prompts

    • A quick guide to gathering any needed copy or assets
      NOTE: Launch Lite clients will use a simplified prep form.

  • We’ll meet live to clarify your structure, style, and must-haves. This call sets the foundation for your build — and makes sure we’re totally aligned.

    • Launch Lite: I’ll set up your pre-designed layout, apply your brand elements, and connect your domain.

    • Co-Lab Build: We’ll work together in real-time or guided sessions to design and build your custom site page by page.

    • Full Lab Launch: You relax while I build out your fully custom site — from structure to styling, all done-for-you.

  • You’ll get a private preview of your site-in-progress and give feedback. Each package includes:

    • 1 revision round for Launch Lite

    • 2 revision rounds for Co-Lab and Full Lab Launch

  • Once approved and final payment is received, we connect your domain (or migrate your site), test everything, and go live! 🎉
    You’ll also receive a quick post-launch guide and 7–10 days of email support depending on your package.

    • All websites are built using Squarespace, a user-friendly, design-forward platform perfect for small businesses, creatives, and service providers.

    • To publish your site live, a Squarespace Website Plan is required — either monthly or yearly.

    • This will be discussed before your proposal is sent, so you know exactly what to expect.

    • Bonus: You’ll receive 20% off your first year if you choose a yearly plan (I’ll walk you through how to apply the discount).

    • Domain transfers, content delays, or third-party integrations may affect the timeline — we’ll communicate any changes clearly.

    • Need help writing your content or choosing visuals? I offer support and upgrades for that too.

    • Projects are completed within 3–7 days depending on the package — clear timelines will be outlined in your proposal.
